Yoga for Senior Citizens

This Yoga Practice will help the senior citizen to improve overall health and well-being. It will bring about cheerfulness, and higher levels of energy. It will build better coordination, concentration and agility, which is very important as a person gets older. Pranayama practice is beneficial for getting better sleep and reducing stress, as is the practice of holding asanas and relaxation practices like savasana.
Yoga is also helpful in reducing pain, in reducing the symptoms of chronic illness, and the effects of long-term medication.
Our senior citizen’s yoga class, is modified to suit older people. it is taught in one one class trained to teach gently.
